What Our Ingredients Do:

  • Nano-Hydroxyapatite

    It works by remineralizing teeth, repairing enamel, reducing sensitivity, and bones.

    N-HA particles also stop bacteria from adhering to the teeth, and reduces the formation and presence of plaque (biofilm). Since it is highly biocompatible, it is non-toxic for the human body, especially the teeth. It is

  • Xylitol

    Prevents bacteria from adhering to teeth surfaces and allows for increased remineralization with increased salivary production. Also, it prevents tooth decay.

  • Sodium Bicarbonate

    Balances pH in the mouth by regulating the acidity. Neutralized pH helps reduce bacteria infiltration. Additionally drastically slows the rate of demineralization.

  • Calcium Bicarbonate

    Attacks plaque and neutralizes plaque acids (which causes cavities) while providing a calcium source which can reminerlize teeth.

  • Sorbitol

    Reduces activity and prevelance of bacteria. Additionaly educes plaque formation and cavities. It works to prevent tooth decay.

  • Aloe Vera

    Reduces the prevalence of bacteria, acts as an anti-inflammatory (aids in plaque induced gingivitis), and improves periodontal condition

  • Menthol

    Derived from mint plants and provides a refreshed feeling along with making your breath smell minty.

Why We Moved Away From Fluoride

Fluoride has been identified as a potential neurotoxicant that could affect human development in various research studies. Furthermore, excessive fluoride intake is linked to fluorosis, a condition characterized by changes in tooth enamel and, in severe cases, bone structure.

More about n-HA

We chose to move to nano-Hydroxyapatite due to its biocompatibility. Our enamel is made up of 90% hydroxyapitite, and our bones are constituted with about 70%. It is made of calcium and phosphate ions. Knowing this, we chose nano particles since they are better able to bond to the teeth. Also, hydroxyapatite is naturally produced by the body, so in essence we are nourishing teeth with a mineral that we are already producing to help promote remineralization.

Additionally, n-HA already has many uses in the dental field and is considered to be very safe for the human body. It is already used in implants to enhance bone activity and to promote a safer bone growth.
